Our Providers

Depending on your health care needs and preference, you may choose a physician, a nurse practitioner or a physician assistant to provide your care.  All of the health professionals at Women's Care share the commitment to provide you with the highest quality of care in a supportive and compassionate atmosphere that respects your moral beliefs and dignity.
 
OB/GYN doctor - Provides medical and surgical care for women. They have earned a degree from college and medical school.  They have also completed a four-year course in obstetrics and gynecology and be board certified by passing a written and oral test.  Doctors certified after 1986 must be recertified every 10 years.
Nurse Practitioner -  Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat common illnesses and diseases. They are licensed registered nurses who have advanced education and must pass a national certification exam.
Physician Assistant - Perform physical exams, diagnose and treat common illnesses and diseases.  They have completed at least a two-year educational program after college.
Physical Therapist - The Physical Therapist evaluates patients; designs individual treatment plans, and re-assesses patient progress.  They must obtain either a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy and pass an examination to become licensed.
